Flipping Through

Nothing is on the T.V.
I nonchalantly flip through the stations on the T.V.
An old man tries to report the world on the T.V.
Destruction that seems so detached appears on the T.V.
The rubble and dust remain trapped behind glass on the T.V.
I change the channel on the T.V.
I see animals that we?ll soon kill off on the T.V.
The speckled young frolic and increase the species on the T.V.
A seemingly concerned voice-over enunciates his acting on the T.V.
I see what else is on the T.V.
The dream world of a cartoon exists on the T.V.
The chaotic physics fit the manic characters on the T.V.
They stretch and bounce and laugh on the T.V.
The number goes higher on the T.V.
Yet another commercial on the T.V.
Why did I pay for so many channels on the T.V.?
Someone like me tells me how their life changed on the T.V.
Everything looks better on the T.V.
I sit and wonder how many people accept what?s on the T.V.
