The Flight

One day while daydreaming, I looked to the sky
And a cloud of blood was soaring way up high.
It was a dragon with evil in its eyes.
Teeth and claws bared, fiery eye flared,
It flew unmercilessly.

Beside it was a cloud of mercury,
An angel in all its majesty.
Eyes aglow and so pure,
One look and I felt secure.

Talking with the dragon of things unknown
As the two flew above the world alone
A heart of glass beside a heart of stone

But then they began to fuse,
Bringing together such different views.

Wrong and Right
Joined at the heart in perpetual flight.
