The Odd Trio

I?ve got three friends, who really do make an odd three

First comes Faith, in all her glory
She helps remind me that the Future in no way can be the Past
And any trouble I?m having now, most likely won?t last

Than comes Pain, adding his own latitude
He always must prod Faith and test her fortitude
But when Faith and I break apart
Pain is always there to counsel my heart

Last comes Art, an odd little fellow, yet most true
Expression through him allows bad moods through
No matter if it?s written or drawn
Or hummed as a song

Art has a strong comeback for Pain?s cruel plans
But Pain is always there when sadness changes hands
And lovely Faith can cheer any sad heart
Leaving more time for some chats with Art
