Things I’ve Done in DC

I just figured I would put this in an rant, just for memories sake. I don’t want this to become a blog, but still, I can rant about whatever, right?

Welp, I have been to a roller derby. The DC Demon cats. It was oddly awesome.

I went to the Smithsonian free concert to see violinist Mari Kimura, Shamisen master Jojibei Tokiwazu V, and Tomomi Adachi doing some computer modulation. The mix of electronica, violin and traditional Japanese was interesting.

I have been to a DC United game. It made me miss playing soccer.

I have seen the Cherry Blossom parade and Japanese street festival. I don’t need to do either again anytime soon.

The museums and the memorials are kinda no brainers. It was interesting seeing the changing of the guard again. I haven’t since junior high.

Well, those are the major events. I don’t count bars and pubs, they all seem the same to me.

I’ll add more as the summer rolls in. Perhaps I should do a rant about my time in Japan, for memory sake?
